EC may question Sasikala's elevation as party Gen Secy

The Election Commission may question VK Sasikala's elevation as AIADMK general secretary, sources privy to the latest development told CNN-News18. Sources said that EC may cite the party constitution and say that there is no provision for a temporary Genereal secretary. The EC may even set aside Sasikala's elevation, the source added. Sasikala Pushpa, an MP from Tamil Nadu, had approached the EC and sough a clarification after which it was said that the explanation given by AIADMK is not satisfactory.Meanwhile, the O Pannerselvam's (OPS) camp has confirmed they have proof against the doctor, whom they allege is close to Sasikala and had administered wrong medicine to Jayalalithaa, according to CNNNews18. "The truth is on my side, the people and cadre are on my side.
