Union Telecom Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Friday took on the alliance of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, claiming that the two leaders do not share the same vision for the state.Speaking at IBN Dialogue Bihar 2.0, the Union minister asserted that the state wanted change in the elections and was looking towards BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to form government in Bihar.Attacking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the BJP leader alleged that "Bihar is falling back on development parameters under Nitish Kumar", adding that "the state is staring at Jungle Raj under him".Targeting the JDU-RJD alliance, Prasad said, "Nitish Kumar must answer on fodder scam, 'Alkatra' scam and jungle raj."He also accused the Bihar Chief Minister of refusing land to the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for developmental work."This election is about hope and aspiration. The state wants development and progress. This election will prove that Bihar has moved beyond caste and religion," said Prasad. He, however, skirted a question on his candidature for the post of Chief Minister, saying, "I am not in the race for becoming the Chief Minister. The CM candidate will be decided by the party at an appropriate time...all we want to do is work for the welfare of the state."
