Bihar results victory of unity over divisiveness: Rahul

Putting up a stunning show, the JDU-led grand alliance was today well on course to gaining a thumping majority in the Bihar assembly defeating the BJP-led NDA convincingly.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday termed the Bihar poll results as a "victory of unity over divisiveness" and congratulated Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD Supremo Lalu Yadav on the win. "Congratulations to the people of Bihar, to Nitishji, to Laluji, to the Congress leaders & karyakartas & the Mahagathbandhan on this victory".

"This is a victory of unity over divisiveness. Humility over arrogance. Love over hate. A victory of the people of Bihar," he said in a series of tweets. Putting up a stunning show, the JDU-led grand alliance was today well on course to gaining a thumping majority in the Bihar assembly defeating the BJP-led NDA convincingly.According to trends available for 220 seats, the grand alliance is ahead in 142 of the 243 seats, 20 more than required for a simple majority.
