The Opposition members resented that the House had no information and said the media was reporting that the government has already ordered a CBI probe. As Defence Minister AK Antony was not present, Ahluwalia sought that the House be adjourned for some time so that the government can inform the House. As the din continued, Deputy Chairman K Rahman Khan adjourned the House till 2 PM. Earlier raising the Telangana issue, Javadekar accused the government of indulging in "time killing" by constituting committees over the issue and said an "insensitive" government fuels peoples' anger. He pointed out that after the suicide of an MBBS student on the issue two days back, an auto rickshaw driver today committed suicide protesting the delay in Telangana statehood. The BJP leader also said that while Congress lost in the recently concluded by-elections in Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh, TRS and BJP supporting separate statehood won. Joining the issue, Rao questioned: "If democratic voice cannot be heard, what is the use of Parliament and Assembly?"
