Cillian Murphy won a Golden Globe for best drama film actor for his role as the father of the atomic bomb in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster "Oppenheimer". He beat Bradley Cooper for "Maestro," Leonardo DiCaprio for "Killers of the Flower Moon," Colman Domingo for "Rustin," Barry Keoghan for "Saltburn" and Andrew Scott for "All of Us Strangers."

“Barbie" was the leading film heading into the Golden Globes night with nine nominations, but ended the gala with just two prizes. It won the award for best song, for a tune written by Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. And as the year's highest grossing movie, it claimed a newly created trophy for box office achievement.
Robert Downey Jr won the best supporting actor prize for "Oppenheimer". He portrayed the protagonist's bitter rival. "Golden Globes journalists, thanks for changing your game," Downey Jr said in his acceptance speech.
