The new limited edition of the LC500hh gets a new exterior paint scheme and a unique new blue interior colour. Tech and powertrain on the other hand remain the same.

Luxury brand Lexus has launched 2024 Limited edition of its 2-door sports coupe, the LC500h. While mechanically unchanged, the little coupe gets some special interiors as well as exterior colourway. There are a few changes on the interiors as well and the most prominent of these would be the new Kachi-Blue interior colour scheme. Lexus says this colour should promote calmness within the cabin.

It still gets the swooping lines and a flat sports car stance complete with Lexus’ signature grille. For the special Limited Editon, however, Lexus is offering an exclusive Hakugin pearlescent paint job that is then coated in a Satin finish. Accentuating the white paint is the jet-black finish on the front grille and the rear diffuser.

You have the new black matte finished 21-inch alloys.

The exterior changes are the new fixed carbon-fibre wing at the rear and new canards on the front bumper. These changes, Lexus says, has helped in improving aerodynamics on the LC500h.

It gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that tilts ever so slightly towards the driver complete with smartphone connectivity.

This 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol is mated to an electric motor and a self-charging lithium-ion battery. On its own, the internal combustion engine produces 300 hp of maximum power and 348 Nm of peak torque. Combined with the electric motor, however, the power figure rises to a maximum of 359 hp. All of this is then sent to the rear wheels via a CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic. Lexus claims a top speed of 249 km/h and a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 4.7 seconds.

The Lexus LC500h Limited-Edition has been launched in India priced at Rs 2.50 crore which is approximately Rs 11 lakh higher than the standard LC500h at Rs 2.39 crore.
