Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has tested positive for COVID-19, he informed on Twitter on October 25.
"I have tested COVID-19 positive. Asymptomatic. Feeling very much alright. Have alerted those who came in contact in recent days," Das said.
"Will continue to work from isolation. Work in RBI will go on normally. I am in touch with all Dy. Govs and other officers through VC and telephone," the RBI Governor added.

Das has been at the forefront of the task of getting India's economy back on track, and had, on October 21, said that the country is "at the doorstep of economic revival".
"We are almost at the doorstep of revival process and it's very important that the financial entities have adequate capital (to support growth)," he said. Many of them have already raised capital and others are planning, he said, adding they would certainly do so in the coming months.
Currently, the RBI has full strength of four deputy governors B P Kanungo, M K Jain, M D Patra and M Rajeshwar Rao.
