A chemical leak in a building in Mumbai’s Andheri area on Saturday left one person dead and two others in critical condition, after all three suffered breathing difficulties and were rushed to hospital.

Three people were admitted to Holy Spirit Hospital following the incident. Officials said one of them died, while the other two remain in the ICU in serious condition.

Leak reported in MIDC Bhangarwadi

The leak was detected at around 4:55 pm on November 22, 2025, in a G+1 structure located at Bhangarwadi in the MIDC area, near the MIDC police station in Andheri (East), according to officials cited by PTI.
