After witnessing intense cross-border shelling, drone attacks and aerial invasions for close to 100 hours, India and Pakistan on Saturday reached an “understanding” about stopping “military action” and “firing”.

Soon after the cessation of firing and military action between New Delhi and Islamabad  was announced on Saturday (May 10) evening, cross-border firing from Pakistan was reported at several locations along the border regions.

This round of India-Pak hostilities began nearly 20 days ago - with the terror attack in South Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22, in which 26 people, mostly civilians, were killed.
