NDA leads in Bihar
While the counting of the Bihar Assembly election results is underway today, early trends showed the National Democratic Alliance comprising the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Janata Dal (United) and other smaller parties, heading for a landslide victory in the state.
Currently, the NDA is ahead in 190 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly. The Mahagathbandhan, on the other hand, was leading in only 49 seats, which is far below its 2020 tally and beyond all exit poll predictions.
