Days after bomb scare rocked Delhi's IGI airport, the police on Wednesday tracked down a 13-year-old who had allegedly sent the hoax email.

On June 4, the Delhi International Airport Limited office received an email claiming that an Air Canada flight carried a bomb. The flight was supposed to depart in a few minutes.

However, the threat later turned out to be a hoax.

On Tuesday, the police found that a 13-year-old boy from UP's Meerut had sent the hoax mail as a "prank" to check if the authorities could track him down, News18 reported.
