Bengaluru's Taj West End Hotel gets bomb threat, probe underway

The hotel, known for hosting prominent politicians and cricketers, received the threat earlier today

Local police and the bomb squad have rushed to the scene

On Saturday, police informed that the Taj West End Hotel, located in Bengaluru's Race Course area, received a bomb threat. The threat was delivered via email from unknown individuals.

The hotel, which frequently accommodates notable politicians and cricketers, received the threat earlier today. Following which, local police and bomb squad teams immediately rushed to the spot.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru, Shekhar HT confirmed to ANI that the bomb threat was received from unknown persons. A detailed investigation was conducted in order to identify the people behind the threat.

After a thorough probe, the police declared it to be a hoax.
