Bengaluru airport set for Dosa wars: CTR vs Rameshwaram Cafe

Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) sources told Moneycontrol that two of Bengaluru's popular dosa joints: CTR and Rameshwaram Cafe will be setting up outlets at the airport.

Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru is all set for an epic dosa battle.

Two of Bengaluru's most popular eateries— Central Tiffin Room (CTR) and Rameshwaram Cafe—will soon open outlets at Bengaluru airport. "Rameshwaram Cafe will be located in Terminal 1 and CTR in Terminal 2 arrivals. It’s our mission to showcase the best of Bengaluru," a Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) source told Moneycontrol.

At present, popular South Indian eateries at Bengaluru airport include Hatti Kaapi (T2 lounge), Ooru Canteen (T1 departures), and Maiyas (T2 departures).

Central Tiffin Room (CTR), also known as Sri Sagar Hotel in Malleswaram, is an iconic food joint in Bengaluru, famous for its popular benne masala dosa, or butter masala dosa. Established in 1920, it is frequently visited by celebrities and locals alike.
