Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal moved the Supreme Court on June 23, challenging the Delhi High Court’s stay on his bail order granted by the trial court in the liquor policy scam money laundering case. According to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Kejriwal's lawyers have requested a hearing on June 24 morning, reported PTI.

On June 21, the Delhi High Court granted an interim stay on the trial court's bail order to the AAP national convenor in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor policy scam.

The High Court also issued a notice to Kejriwal, seeking his response to the Enforcement Directorate's plea challenging the trial court's June 20 order granting him bail.

"Till the pronouncement of this order, the operation of the impugned order shall remain stayed," stated a vacation bench of the high court, directing the parties to file written submissions by June 24.
