26/11 Mumbai attack survivor Moshe Holtzberg turns 11, set to visit Nariman House

Moshe Holtzberg – an 11-year-old in 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks survivor - will be once again at Nariman House where his parents were killed more than nine years ago.

Moshe Holtzberg will be once again at the place where he lost his parents in 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, on Thursday. The 11-year-old boy will visit the site for the first time till the tragedy struck the family more than nine years ago. (Reuters)

Two-year-old Moshe Holtzberg's was residing at Nariman with his parents Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg when Pakistani gunmen seized the place in November 2008. Rabbi and his wife were running a cultural and outreach centre for the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in the building at the time of attack. They were killed in the attack, but Moshe was rescued by Sandra Samuels – his Indian nanny. (Reuters)

Moshe’s visit to Nariman House will be more special as the place will be reportedly announced to be turned into a ‘living memorial’ dedicated to those who were killed in the attack, on the day. He will later fly back to Israel on January 19. (Reuters)
