Right then, that is it from the fourth game of this Tri-Series and the next game is probably the most crucial game of this series so far. Sri Lanka take on Zimbabwe, looking for revenge and a hope to stay in the competition. However, a win for Zimbabwe will make sure that the Lankans are out of the running for the Final. That game will be played once again here in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, 25 November. The game will begin at 1 pm GMT but as usual, you can join us a lot sooner for the build-up. Till then, take care and goodbye!
The victorious captain of Pakistan, Salman Agha, is all smiles after the win. He calls it a perfect win. Highlights that they played almost a perfect game against Sri Lanka and have backed it up well with this win. Shares that when you have 70-meter boundaries, running between the wickets gets very crucial and that's exactly what they discussed in their team meeting. He then appreciates the way Sahibzada Farhan and Babar Azam kept the scoreboard ticking in that middle phase. Calls Usman Tariq a bowler with an X factor. He adds that if you have a bowler like him who can create that kind of impact in the middle overs, they are always going to be on the winning side.
The captain of Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza, says that apart from the final over, he felt it was a typical Rawalpindi wicket and there were runs to be scored but they needed some to step up after losing those early wickets, which didn't happen. Adds that you need to know that the opposition will have worked on your weaknesses and you need to be on your game every time. Mentions that they will regroup soon and have a chat and feels that there's need to be individual responsibility and they need to play spin well, especially given the fact that the upcoming T20 World Cup is in Asia.
Usman Tariq is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his exceptional spell of bowling, which included a hat-trick. He starts by saying that he is blessed to be honored to become the fourth Pakistani bowler to pick up a T20I hat-trick. On his bowling action, he explains that you need to be balanced and the body should go forward, which helps him with his action. Adds that there is a huge process in bringing in those variations. Shares that his coach in Peshawar taught him a couple of variations. Admits that he wasn't expecting a big shot on his hat-trick ball and also credits Salman Agha for putting the fielder in the deep, which gave him the confidence to bowl that line and length.
The presentation ceremony...
Earlier in the game, birthday boy Salman Agha opted to bat first and the Pakistani openers made their intentions clear very soon. Even after losing a wicket, Sahibzada Farhan continued to play his shots and got plenty out of them as well, whereas Babar Azam slowly but surely seemed to be getting into pristine form. Farhan scored 63 and Babar got to 74 runs each and it was Fakhar Zaman who added the finishing touches with 3 sixes in the final over, picking up 25 runs in total in that over. As for Zimbabwe, they blew hot and cold with the ball as the frontline seamers did a decent job but it was Brad Evans who was taken to the cleaners along with a few big overs from the others as well.
Zimbabwe came into this game high on confidence after having dismantled Sri Lanka in the previous game, but were probably a bit shell-shocked to see that they were going to chase 196 runs in this game. The Zimbawean openers looked good for a few deliveries but both got out in quick succession and they were 3 down inside the first 4 overs. With the spinners coming on after the Powerplay, Zimbabwe had already lost the backbone of their batting lineup. Ryan Burl was the solo act as he watched batter after batter coming and getting out but he did manage to hit a fine unbeaten 67 off 49 deliveries. However, in the end, they were handed a bit of a reality check.
Pakistan had the runs on the board and they knew they could throw caution to the wind in the first few overs. However, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Wasim simply held their lines and induced false shots from the Zimbabwean openers. The changes made by Salman Agha also worked wonderfully as all five bowlers picked up a wicket each early in their spell. The spinners did really get the opposition batters into a tangle and Usman Tariq was simply unplayable at times, picking up a hat-trick in the process as well. Mohammad Nawaz continued his good form and Pakistan made light work of their opponents, or seemed to have until that late barrage of boundaries from Burl. A comfortable win, nonetheless.
A very, very late counterpunch from Ryan Burl to minimize some of the damage but it is a rollicking win for Pakistan, cementing their place in the Tri-Series Final. The hosts have flexed their muscles against Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe were well off the boil tonight and all the hard work they did against Sri Lanka, they will have to do it again, as their net run rate has now taken a beating with this big defeat.
18.6OUT! RICHARD NGARAVA IS RUN OUT! Well, that wasn't the part of the script at all. Fuller delivery, down the leg stump line. Ryan attempts to whip that away into the leg side, but misses to connect. Usman Khan, the keeper, fumbles to collect the ball in the first attempt and recovers almost instantly. There is a total communication lapse in the middle as Ryan Burl is going nowhere and is ball-watching, but Richard Ngarava is more than halfway through to sneak in a bye. In fact, he is almost near the popping crease at the batting end. Realising this, Usman Khan tosses up an underarm throw toward the non-striker's end and scores a direct hit. Three wins in three matches, and into the finale of this Tri-Series, the hosts are. PAKISTAN BEAT ZIMBABWE BY 69 RUNS.
18.5Down the leg stump line, on a good length. Ryan Burl gets inside the line and tries to whip that over square leg, but misses. The ball grazes the thigh pad and carries through to the keeper.
18.4Full and around off, carved out to mid off.
18.3On a length, outside the leg stump line. Burl tries to hoick across the line, but the ball beats the bat and thuds the front pad.
18.3WIDE! Spotting Ryan shuffling across to play the lap shot, Wasim sprays miles outside the off stump, and beyond the tramline. Burl tries the reverse ramp but misses. Wide called.
18.2A yorker, on off, Burl calmly digs it out to cover.
18.1FOUR! Excellently controlled! Fuller in length from Wasim, on middle and leg. Ryan Burl flicks it uppishly, but into the vacant deep mid-wicket region for a boundary.
17.6FOUR! Now that has been struck so well! Ashraf goes short and on middle. Richard Ngarava goes deep inside the crease and pulls it over square leg for a one-bounce boundary.
17.5Length ball, on off, Ryan Burl knocks it down to long off for a single.
17.4Around off and this is smacked away to deep cover.
17.3Short on middle, Ryan Burl pulls it off the sweet spot of the bat, but finds the man patrolling the deep mid-wicket fence. Does not run.
17.2FOUR! Hammered! He has played some lovely strokes in this match. Full and on off, Ryan Burl gets onto it in a flash and brutally spanks it between extra cover and mid off for a cracking boundary. This is now Zimbabwe's highest 10th wicket partnership in T20Is.
17.1TOP EDGE, FOUR! Faheem drops it short and outside off. Ryan Burl slashes and slashes hard at it off the back foot. Gets a thick top edge and the ball flies over short third for a boundary.
16.6Keeps the strike. An attempted yorker, on off, Ryan Burl squeezes it to deep extra cover for a single.
16.5Outside off, on a short of a good length. Ryan Burl waits back and punches it straight to extra cover.
16.4On a length, around off, Burl smashes it off the front foot between cover and mid off. A slight fumble there allows them to cross over for a double.
16.3That was hit well enough as well! Short, into the bodyline. Ryan Burl times the pull shot to perfection, but straight to deep mid-wicket.
16.2SIX! FIFTY FOR RYAN BURL! His 4th T20I fifty. Stood firm at one end when wickets were tumbling at the other end. Shah serves it into the slot, on the leg stump line. Ryan Burl brings his bottom hand into play and whips it off the pads and deposits it behind deep fine leg for a cracking six to get to his milestone. This innings from Ryan Burl has provided some reference point for Zimbabwe to build on for their next fixtures.
16.1Geez, that was struck at the rate of knots! Burl throws everything at it as he spanks the full ball through extra cover. But there is a fielder patrolling the deep cover fence.
15.6Fired on a fuller length, around off, driven off the front foot to deep cover.
15.5Oh, almost carried! Pace off from Wasim, very full, on middle. Richard Ngarava chips it off the toe end of the bat. The ball dips low to the left of mid off. A good effort from Agha as he dives, but the ball just lands short of him.
15.4On a good length, on the leg stump line. Burl steers it in the backward square leg region for a single.
15.3FOUR! Good connection! Short from Wasim, well outside off. Ryan Burl uses the depth of the crease and cuts it uppishly over backward point. The deep point fielder runs to his right, even gets his right hand on the ball, but fails to stop it cleanly. The ball deflects off his fingertips and goes into the fence.
15.2Zips through from a fuller length, around off. Ryan Burl fails to dig it out as the ball beats the outside edge by a thin margin.
15.1FOUR! Burl gets into his 40s! The only positive from Zimbabwe's batting point of view. Short of a length, outside off. Ryan Burl leans back a bit and hits it over extra cover for a boundary.
14.6Swing and a miss! A slower cutter, angled outside the off stump on a good length. Richard Ngarava swings the bat to pull in January, but the ball arrives in December. Gets beaten all ends up due to lack of pace and bounce.
14.6Shortish delivery, on the leg stump. Ryan Burl whips it to the long leg region for a single. Oh, No Ball called as Naseem Shah has overstepped. FREE HIT loading up...
14.5Fuller one, on middle, Ryan looks to flick, but inside edges on the pads and the ball rolls to cover.
14.4FOUR! Into the gap! Short from Naseem, on the leg stump line. Ryan Burl weighs on the back foot and pulls it to beat Sahibzada Farhan to his left at deep backward square leg for a boundary.
14.3Spears in a yorker, down leg. Ryan tries to flick that through the leg side, but misses. The ball passes very close to the leg pole and hence, it is not called a wide.
14.2Attacks the stumps on a length. Richard Ngarava backs away and nudges it to deep square leg for a single.
14.1Short of a good length, outside off, Ryan Burl stands tall and slashes it hard to deep extra cover for a single.
Richard Ngarava is the last batter in for Zimbabwe. Naseem Shah (2-0-14-1) is back into the attack.
13.6OUT! BOWLED! Finally, one that is hitting the stumps and Tinotenda Maposa yet again swings nowhere close to the ball. Usman Tariq flights the ball up on off stump and bowls it just full enough to get under the bat. Maposa gets down on one knee and swings wildly across the line but the ball dips and spins in to castle into the middle stump. Tariq finishes his spell with another wicket and gets a four-fer as well.
13.5How has that missed the stumps? Tossed up, full and on middle, gets the ball to dip and turn back in. Maposa loses his shape as he looks to heave across the line and again the ball just beats the inside edge.
13.4This one goes the other way. Bowled on a length and outside off, this one turns away from the right-hander and Maposa taps it to point.
13.3And again! Fuller this time and on leg, turns in a touch. Tinotenda Maposa looks for the slog sweep again and is beaten all ends up.
13.2Slows it right up and floats it on middle and leg, Tinotenda Maposa sets up for the slog sweep but is through his shot early. That missed the leg stump by a whisker.
13.1Goes wider on the crease and bowls it round arm, sliding the ball back in a long way. Burl looks to push at it but gets an inside edge to short fine leg for a single.
12.6Nice and full, wide outside off, bunted back to the bowler.
12.5Fired in, full and on off, jammed down to long off for a run.
12.4Dragged length, floated wide outside off, Ryan Burl reaches for it and cuts it wide of the deep point fielder and picks up two more runs.
12.3SIX! That's probably the biggest one of the night! Tossed up, a bit full and outside off, angling in. Ryan Burl plants his front leg across for the step hit and heaves it over cow corner for a massive 101-meter biggie.
12.2Full again, angled into middle and leg, driven down to long on for a single.
12.1Fuller on, drifted into the legs, Tinotenda Maposa gets leg side of the ball but it stops on him and he nearly chips it straight back to the bowler.
11.6FOUR! Nicely hit! Shorter one, looking to angle it in from well outside off, Ryan Burl rocks back and cuts it just to the left of the point fielder and picks up a welcome boundary.
11.5Tossed up, on a length and outside off, Burl punches it straight to extra cover.
11.4Flatter one, tapped away wide of point for a quick single.
11.3An extreme round-arm delivery, slanting into the pads, Ryan Burl stays put and flicks it through mid-wicket for another single.
11.2On a length and on off, Tinotenda Maposa rocks back and taps it towards cover-point for one more.
11.1Floated, very full and outside off, skewed away off the toe end of the bat and behind point for a single.
This is folding quicker than expected for Zimbabwe. Tinotenda Maposa is in at number 10.
10.6OUT! BOWLED'EM! Through the gate! Mohammad Nawaz keeps raking in the wickets and he's certainly been Pakistan's most consistent T20I performer this year. Fires in an arm ball, landing it a bit full and on the fifth stump line. Just full enough for Brad Evans to be drawn forward and as he looks to drive, the ball darts back in, going between bat and pad and smashes into the stumps.
10.5Goes wider on the crease and slides it back into the stumps, Brad Evans leans on and clips it away wide of deep mid-wicket for a couple of quick runs.
10.4Slower and into the pitch around off, Evans waits back and taps it to covers.
10.3Nice and full on off, Brad Evans watches it well and blocks it into the off side.
10.2Tossed up around off again, Burl drives it on the up and down to long on for a single.
10.1On a good length and on off, angling in, Burl taps it back onto the deck.
9.6Missing the stumps! A googly from Tariq, full in length and it spins into the batter after pitching on off. Brad Evans does not read the wrong'un and leans on to push it straight, but the ball turns in sharply. It beats the inside edge and raps on the front pad. A huge appeal for LBW, but the umpire remains unmoved. Pakistan have gone upstairs for a review. There is no bat involved and the Ball Tracking shows the ball is projected to miss the leg stump. The on-field decision is upheld. Pakistan lose a review, but that hardly matters at this point. A TRIPLE WICKET MAIDEN FROM USMAN TARIQ! Halfway through and Zimbabwe are tottering at 60/7.
An appeal for LBW but the umpire turns it down. The bowler, Usman Tariq seems interested and Salman Agha does opt for the review. No need for UltraEdge as the third umpire checks the replays and confirms there's no bat involved and Ball Tracking shows that the ball would have missed leg stump. NOT OUT!
9.5On a fractionally fuller length, spinning in and around off. Brad Evans watchfully blocks it off the back foot to the off side.
Brad Evans is the next batter in.
9.4OUT! HAT TRICK FOR USMAN TARIQ! The mystery man has dented the Zimbabwean middle order badly. Usman is only the 4th Pakistani bowler to pick up a Hat Trick in T20Is after Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Hasnain and Mohammad Nawaz. Serves it full, does Usman. It is around the off stump and Wellington Masakadza chances his arm to slog it over the long on fence, but goes through his shot a tad early and mistimes it straight into the hands of Babar Azam at long on. Wellington Masakadza departs without troubling the scorers and Zimbabwe are 60/7 down now. Staring at a huge defeat.
Wellington Masakadza walks in to face the hat-trick delivery.
9.3OUT! OUTFOXED! How do you play that? Usman offers a nice bit of loop on the ball and drops it full, in front of the stumps. The ball lands and grips into the batter sharply. Tashinga Musekiwa draws the front foot out and looks to work it to the on side, but the ball spins across the bat's face and beats the inside edge. It then rebounds off the back pad and crashes into the stumps behind. A golden duck for Tashinga Musekiwa and Zimbabwe are pushed further down to 60/6, needing 136 runs. USMAN TARIQ IS ON A HAT TRICK!
Drinks Break! Well, we are almost halfway through the 20 overs in the second innings but Zimbabwe have already lost half their side. Pakistan have bowled well but 60/5 in 9.2 is more of a reflection of how Zimbabwe have batted and they simply haven't applied themselves at the crease. The pacers laid the foundation early on for the hosts and the spinners are now backing it up as all five bowlers have got a wicket each and they will look to run through this batting order at the earliest. With that said, Tashinga Musekiwa walks out to bat at number 7.
9.2OUT! TOP EDGE AND GONE! Usman Tariq gets his first wicket and troubles keep multiplying for Zimbabwe. Tariq flights it up and drops it full. He gets a bit of a purchase off the surface as the ball spins in with some bounce. Tony Munyonga gets down on a knee to sweep, but due to the ball getting extra bounce, it balloons off the top edge towards short fine leg. Naseem Shah moves a bit to his right and takes a simple catch. Tony Munyonga departs on 1 off 7 balls and Zimbabwe are 60/5.
9.1BEATEN! Carrom ball, dished on a length, just outside off. Tony Munyonga is beaten all ends up on the off side while trying to work it into the off side.
8.6Very full and outside off, Tony Munyonga strides across on the front foot and drives it along the grass to deep extra cover for an easy single. A very successful over for Mohammad Nawaz. A huge wicket of Raza and just a single off it.
8.5Shorter than a fuller length, outside off, Tony Munyonga punches off the back foot to extra cover.
8.4Slightly short and outside off, steered off the back foot by Tony to backward point.
8.3Full and on the stumps, Tony Munyonga stretches forward and defends it back to the bowler.
8.2Fuller and around off, spinning away, Tony blocks it off the front foot.
Tony Munyonga is the next batter in.
8.1OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! Straight to the fielder. Nawaz continues his fine form with the ball. He lands it short and slides the ball into the batter. Sikandar Raza is quick to pivot on the back foot, but has very little room to work with. Still, he goes through the pull shot but gets no timing and distance. Hits it straight into the hands of Faheem Ashraf stationed at deep mid-wicket. This is a massive wicket as Sikandar Raza perishes on 23 off 18 balls. Zimbabwe are 59/4, needing 137 runs to win in 71 balls.
7.6BEATEN! This one turns back into the batter with a drift, on a fullish length. Ryan Burl shapes up to go inside out over the off side, but the ball beats the inside edge by a whisker.
7.5Proactive running! Dropped short by Usman, on off and middle. Ryan Burl heaves it through the vacant mid-wicket region for a couple of runs.
7.4On middle, on fractionally fuller length. Sikandar Raza hangs deep inside the crease and works it along the ground to long on for one more.
7.3Nice and full, on off, Burl leans on and eases into the cover region for a single.
7.2FOUR! That has been punished mercilessly! Loopy delivery from around the stumps on a fuller length. It is wide enough and Ryan slaps it through extra cover for a cracking boundary.
7.1Usman Tariq is into the attack. Bowls a length ball, on off, Sikandar Raza lets it come at him and punches it down to long off for a single.
6.6The length is dragged back by Nawaz, on middle. Raza goes on the back foot and knocks it to long on for a single. 50 UP FOR ZIMBABWE! Decent start from Nawaz. Just 7 off his opening over. Zimbabwe need 146 runs from 78 balls.
6.5Full and drifting into the batter, on off. Raza dances down the track and taps it with soft hands to extra cover.
6.4FOUR! Races away! Nawaz keeps it well outside off, on a shortish length. Sikandar Raza does well to throw his bat at it and cuts it late. The ball goes off the outside edge of the blade and beats the diving short third fielder to his left for a boundary.
6.3Pitched around off, on a length, Ryan Burl presses forward and drives it to deep cover for a single. They look for a second, but it's not on.
6.2Nicely tossed up at 89.4 kph, full and spinning into the batter. Ryan plays with the spin and clips it to short mid-wicket.
6.1Starts with a length ball, outside off, Sikandar Raza rocks back and punches it to the left of deep point for a single.
First signs of spin as Salman Agha tosses the ball to Mohammad Nawaz right after the Powerplay.
5.6On a back of a length, outside off, Raza stands tall and steers it to deep backward point for a single. Zimbabwe are 43/3 after the end of the Powerplay. Pakistan were 53/1 at the same stage.
5.5Hard length, around off, Ryan Burl tries to cut it away, but gets a thick inside edge onto the thigh pad. The ball rolls in front of point and they cross for a single.
5.4Full and just outside off, Sikandar Raza cracks the front foot drive to the right of the cover fielder for a quick single.
5.3FOUR! Connects one well, does Raza! A bit too outside off, on a good length, nipping away. Sikandar Raza cashes onto the width offered and muscles it over backward point for a boundary.
5.2And again! Slowish delivery, outside off, a tad fuller on this occasion. This doesn't rise up enough and beats Raza's inside edge who lines up for a pull shot.
5.1Big swing and a miss! Slows it up, does Ashraf. On a good length, outside off. Sikandar Raza skips down the track and tries to whack it aerially, but connects nothing.
Zimbabwe's 36/3 meets Pakistan's 40/1 after 5 overs. Faheem Ashraf to continue and bowl the last over of the Powerplay.
4.6Back of a length on middle, jags back in and beats the bat. The ball goes off the thigh pads towards gully and the batters pick up a leg bye.
4.5Good work from the bowler. Full of a length and at the stumps, Sikandar Raza looks to drive straight but doesn't get enough timing on it and Mohammad Wasim sticks out his right boot on the followthrough to keep it down to a dot ball.
4.4A skiddy short ball, aimed in towards the ribs, Burl manages to get it away down to fine leg and picks up a single.
4.3Oh, that's well bowled again. Goes fuller now and bowls it on off, gets the ball to swing back in late. Ryan Burl gets taken aback and the ball goes between the inside edge and the off stump.
4.2Hard length on middle, angled across, Burl looks to tap it into the off side and set off for the single but nearly chops it back onto the stumps.
4.1Beaten! On a hard length and on off, just naturally angling it across the left-hander. No width on offer and Burl just looks to guide it away but is well beaten.
Change of ends for Mohammad Wasim. He replaces Naseem Shah.
3.6SIX! It seems Zimbabwe are going for broke here. Banged in short and outside off, no real bite on it. Sikandar Raza leans back and whacks the pull over cow corner for a biggie.
3.5Shortish length on leg, nudged away through backward square leg for a single.
3.4Back of a length and outside off, Ryan Burl slaps it away and gets it wide of deep point for a couple of runs.
Ryan Burl is in at number 5 with Zimbabwe in trouble.
3.3OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and that is another soft dismissal. All three Pakistani pacers have now picked up a wicket in their first overs. Faheem Ashraf pushes the ball fuller again and outside off stump, inviting the batter forward. Brendan Taylor leans across well but ends up just jabbing at the ball. The ball also holds in the pitch and goes lobbed off the face of the blade straight to Babar Azam at short cover and he makes no mistake. Zimbabwe slip further down to 25/3. They need 171 runs to win.
3.2Fuller and outside off, gets it to swing away, Taylor looks to cover drive but is beaten again.
3.1Oh, that could have easily gone to hand! Starts off with a slower ball, bowling it short of a good length and outside off. Sikandar Raza sets up to cut but the ball stops on him and takes the top edge, lobbing towards the vacant backward point region. The batters pick up a single.
Faheem Ashraf is introduced into the attack. He replaces Mohammad Wasim.
2.6FOUR! Oh, that's unlucky for the bowler. Back of a length and around off, Taylor looks to cut close to the body and chops it down past the leg stump and beats the short fine leg fielder to pick up four runs.
2.5Oh, that's cut the batter in half! Bowls it fuller and outside off, wider on the crease as well and this one swings back in. Brendan Taylor looks to drive but the ball zips past the inside edge.
2.4Banged in on a hard length and around off again, Taylor stays watchful and taps it down to point.
2.3Full of a good length and around off, looking for the outswinger. Taylor leans on an drives it sweetly but straight to covers.
2.2Back of a length and around off, Taylor stands tall and pats it down into the off side.
2.1FOUR! Down the wrong line and into the fence it goes. Shortish length, angled down leg, Brendan Taylor gets a bit of a tickle on it and the ball goes past the diving keeper and rolls away into the fine leg fence.
1.6Pitches the ball up on the pads, Sikandar Raza clips it away firmly and to the left of deep backward square leg for a couple of runs.
1.5Banged in well short and over off stump, Sikandar Raza looks to ramp but does eventually let it pass.
Captain Sikandar Raza is in at number 4.
1.4OUT! CASTLED! That was on the cards as Brian Bennett was looking to swing at every delivery and Mohammad Wasim takes full advantage of it. Wasim hits a good length again and darts the ball back in towards the stumps. Bennett gives himself room leg side and has a swipe across the line, but misses it completely, and the ball hammers into the stumps. Zimbabwe lose both their openers and are now 14/2.
1.3FOUR! When you slash, slash hard and that's what Bennett is doing. Brian Bennett backs away early and Wasim tries to follow him with a hard-length ball. Bennett throws his hands at it and slashes it fine of deep third for another boundary.
1.2Nicely bowled. On a good length and around off, angled in. This one kicks off the deck and beats Bennett's bat as he looks to tentatively play it off the back foot.
1.1FOUR! Streaky but will do nicely for Bennett. Hard length in the channel, slightly outside off, Brian Bennett waits back and opens the bat face to cut, but gets more of an outside edge that races away into the deep third fence.
Brendan Taylor is in at number 3. Mohammad Wasim to share the attack from the other end.
0.6OUT! CAUGHT! Soft, soft dismissal and Tadiwanashe Marumani won't be happy with himself. Good-length delivery, nothing special, just angling across off at 138 kph. Marumani hangs back on the crease and looks to drive it through covers but is very late on the shot and ends up chipping it to the man in front of point. Sahibzada Farhan takes a simple catch and Naseem Shah gets a morale-boosting wicket on his return. Zimbabwe 6/1 after 1.
0.5On a good length and on off, angling away, tapped away straight to covers.
0.4Oh, that nearly bamboozled the keeper. An outswinger, slightly outside off, Marumani plays and misses but the ball shapes back in after leaving the batter. The keeper does well there.
0.3FOUR! Off the mark in style! Length ball, offering some width outside off as well. Marumani leans on and gets on top of the bounce, hitting it just in front of square on the off side for a boundary.
0.2Hard length now, in and around off, jags back into the left-hander. Tadiwanashe Marumani waits back ad jams it into the off side.
0.1Good-length delivery, angling in towards the top of off and middle. Brian Bennett hangs back and nudges it wide of short third and gets off the mark with a single.
0.1Wide! Starts off with a loosener. Runs in from over the wicket and angles it well down the leg side for a wide.
