So that will be that on today's game. Bangladesh has started the series on a winning note, continuing their winning momentum from the last series. However, the games will come thick and fast in this series as these two teams again go head-to-head on Tuesday, 22nd July, at 12 PM GMT. Join us early for the pre-match analysis as we build up to the game. Until then, take care, and cheers!

Litton Das, the skipper of Bangladesh, says that they know how the wicket plays here and it isn't easy to bat on, but they did well with the bat. He reckons that there was some dew in the second innings, but they bowled extremely well earlier on. Adds that there will be good days and bad days, and they know how well Mustafizur Rahman can execute on this ground, and applauds the other bowlers and even the fielders who did well. Mentions that in the last 2-3 matches, their top four have managed to bat for a prolonged period of time and reckons that Tawhid Hridoy is now an experienced campaigner and is happy with the way Parvez Hossain Emon played.

Parvez Hossain Emon is the Player of the Match. On his knock, he says he is happy with his knock as it helped the team win the game. He adds that he and Hridoy looked to stay positive from the word go and kept on finding the fence at regular intervals. On being asked about his boundaries, he says he indeed enjoys hitting the big hits.

Salman Agha, the captain of Pakistan, says that they didn't have enough runs on the board. He reckons that they started well and just kept on losing wickets and will sit down and have a chat before the next game. Adds that in Bangladesh, you hardly get a good batting wicket, but it is about adjusting to the conditions. Mentions that his bowlers bowled well and they just didn't have enough runs on the board. Adds that T20 has plenty of ebbs and flows, and they will focus on the next game.

The Presentation ceremony...

Earlier in the game, Pakistan was bundled out for a paltry score of 110 as the visitors couldn't quite get going with the bat. To make matters worse, there were two run-outs in their innings, which pretty much summed up their day with the bat today. Only two Pakistani batters from the top 7 got into double digits as the rest of their specialist batters fell like a pack of cards. Fakhar Zaman did play well for his 44 but got run out in an unlucky fashion. And after that, the only saving grace with the bat for Pakistan was the partnership between Khushdil Shah and Abbas Afridi of 33 runs, which ensured the Pakistani total crossed the 100-run mark. Mustafizur Rahman and Taskin Ahmed got 5 wickets between them as they used their slower deliveries to good effect. The former, in fact, finished with superb figures of 4-0-6-2.

Both Parvez Hossain Emon and Tawhid Hridoy were cautious to start with, but as they got their eye in, both cashed in and kept on getting the boundaries at regular intervals. Tawhid Hridoy survived twice in his knock of 36, once on 10 when Abrar Ahmed put down a tough catch at deep third man and then on 30 as Mohammad Haris dropped a simple catch behind the sticks. Mohammad Haris didn't have a great day behind the stumps as he dropped one more chance towards the fag end of the game of Parvez Hossain Emon. For Pakistan, except for the debutant,  Salman Mirza's 2-fer, there weren’t any positives with the ball as their bowlers tried to defend an under-par total of 110.

A CONVINCING VICTORY FOR THE HOME SIDE AS THEY GO 1-0 UP IN THIS THREE-MATCH SERIES. The hosts got off to a stuttering start in the chase, as they lost two quick wickets inside three overs, with the debutant Salman Mirza plucking out Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das. However, that was the only saving grace for the Pakistan team, because after that, Parvez Hossain Emon and Tawhid Hridoy stitched together a match-winning 73-run stand, as Pakistani bowlers didn’t have many answers.

15.3FOUR! Well, Jaker Ali gave Parvez Hossain Emon a chance at the big finish but he won't do it again. Short of a length and over off, Jaker hangs back and just leans further back before pulling it up and over wide mid on for a boundary to end proceedings in style. BANGLADESH WIN BY 7 WICKETS!

15.2Hard length outside off, hit away through cover-point for a single.

15.2Wide! Good length, spilled well down the leg side. Haris springs to his right and makes a fine stop.

15.1EDGED AND PUT DOWN! Mohammad Haris has spilled a regulation catch and Parvez Hossain Emon almost gets out in an anti-climactic way. Top line and length from Salman Mirza, bowling it on off and getting the ball to shape away ever so slightly. Emon pushes at it and gets an outside edge but Haris fumbles it a couple of times before dropping it.

14.6A slower googly now, turning in from outside off, Ali waits back and taps it to point.

14.5Tossed up outside off, Jaker leans across and pushes it gently to cover-point. It seems like Jaker is going to allow Parvez Hossain Emon to finish things off. A good deed but probably a bit unnecessary as well.

14.4Very full and around off, Ali jams it off the toe end of the bat and back towards the bowler.

14.3Shorter in length and over middle and leg, Parvez Hossain Emon looks to muscle the pull but mistimes it through square leg for one.

14.2The googly now, tossed up around middle, dips as well. Emon goes for the hard sweep but misses and wears it on the pads. An appeal and given and Parvez Hossain Emon nearly reviewed it even before the umpire's finger went up. Didn't seem to be any bat involved, so Emon must be convinced that this is going over the stumps. The third umpire is called in. UltraEdge is checked first and there is a flat line when the ball is next to the bat. Ball Tracking shows that the ball is going over the stumps and the decision is reversed. NOT OUT and an excellent review from Emon.

14.1Very full around middle, Jaker eases it wide of mid on and picks up a single.

13.6FOUR! Oh, this is carnage from Parvez Hossain Emon! He wants to finish it off in a hurry. 19 off the over. And now Bangladesh needs only 7 to get over the line. Again, the pace off delivery from Faheem Ashraf, that lands on a length, on middle and off, Parvez Hossain Emon is deep in his crease waiting for it as he swipes across the line and sends this delivery one bounce over the deep mid-wicket fence for a boundary.

13.5SIX! What power from Parvez Hossain Emon! He brings up his 50 with that hit. With that shot, 100 is also up for Bangladesh. Pace off delivery, on a length, on middle, Parvez Hossain Emon picks it up and plays the pull shot, which goes just over the leaping deep mid-wicket fielder for a six.

13.4FOUR! Hammered! Faheem Ashraf lands it on hard length, outside off, Parvez Hossain Emon stays still in his crease and flat bats it over mid off for four.

13.3Slower bouncer around off, Jaker Ali plays the tennis forehand smash into the ground towards the leg side and picks up a single.

13.2FOUR! Everything is going Bangladesh's way! A tad short and wide outside off, Jaker Ali swings wildly at it and gets a thick outside edge that runs fine of the deep third man fielder, who runs to his left to cut it off but the ball beats him and hits the ropes.

13.1Length ball on off, Jaker Ali pushes it to point.

12.6Abbas Afridi switches to round the wicket and lands a yorker well outside off, Emon swings and misses the ball by a quite a big margin.

12.5Full on middle, Jaker Ali flicks it along the ground to deep square leg for one.

12.4FOUR! Jaker Ali is off and running! Back of a length, outside off, enough width on offer. Jaker cuts it wide of the deep third man fielder who runs to his right and puts in a slide but fails to save the boundary.

Jaker Ali is the new batter in. A bit of a hold-up in play as there seems to be an issue with the stumps and the stump mic, which gets fixed soon enough.

12.3OUT! BOWLED! Abbas Afridi finally has his man! Fuller and moving into the right-hander, on middle, Tawhid Hridoy goes for a slog across the line, the ball sneaks through the bat pad gap to crash into the middle stump.

12.2Length ball that skids off the surface. The line is on middle, Hridoy looks to swipe across the line and is beaten by the quickness off the surface as the ball hits him high on the back pad. A bit of an appeal for LBW, but that must have been high. Tawhid Hridoy is in a bit of pain there.

12.1Short ball around off, Hridoy looks to play the uppercut and misses. Oh, hang on, the Pakistani team is going for the DRS. They think there might be an edge. Here’s the UltraEdge coming up. There’s nothing on the UltraEdge as the ball is close to the bat. It will stay NOT OUT! Pakistan loses a review.

11.6SIX! THAT'S A BIGGIE! Tossed up on middle, Emon sits down on one knee and lofts this one high over the deep square fence for a sixer.

11.5Short on middle, Emon defends it into the leg side.

11.4Slower through the air, orthodox delivery, on middle, Hridoy skips down the track and pushes it along the ground to the left of deep mid-wicket. He calls for two straight away but the deep mid-wicket fielder was quick to get across the turf and throw the ball back at the non-striker's end and Emon denied the second run.

11.3Full and quick, on off, Hridoy guides it to the left of short cover and looks for a single but it's not there.

11.2Tossed up on off, Hridoy defends it off the crease.

11.1From round the wicket, on middle leg, Emon works it off the back foot to deep square leg for a single.

Mohammad Nawaz to have a bowl now.

10.6Tossed up on off, Hridoy pushes it back to the bowler.

10.5Short and outside off, Hridoy cuts it to backward point.

10.4BEATEN! Slower through the air, turning away, outside off, Hridoy looks to defend it off the front foot and gets beaten on the outside edge.

10.3Full on middle, Emon sweeps it along the ground to deep square leg for one.

10.2SIX! SMASHED! Short on middle, Parvez Hossain Emon is quick to rock on the back foot as he pulls it over the jumping deep mid-wicket fielder for a biggie.

10.1Full on middle, Tawhid flicks it along the ground to deep mid-wicket for one.

DRINKS BREAK! Bangladesh are cruising along right now but Pakistan will feel they have let them off the hook. A sensational debut for Salman Mirza as he picked up two early wickets, igniting hopes of defending a meager total but he's got no support from the other end. Parvez Hossain Emon and Tawhid Hridoy have shown some controlled aggression and are now looking to just consolidate. Also, with just 47 runs needed off 60 legal balls, these two will be looking to wipe off most of the runs and avoid any sort of a collapse. Can Pakistan make a comeback with a couple of quick wickets right after the break in play? Let's find out.

9.6Length ball shaping in, just outside off, Hridoy steers it to deep third man for a single.

9.5Length ball on off, Emon plays the steer shot, very late, as he beats the backward point fielder and completes a single.

9.4Full and outside off, Emon square drives it straight to point.

9.3Back of a length just outside off, Hridoy plays the steer to deep third man for a single. Just 49 to get now.

9.2On a length, outside off, Emon flat bats it to the right of mid off for a single.

9.1Back-of-a-length on middle, Hridoy works into the leg side with soft hands and calls for two, but the ball goes quickly to the left of the deep fine leg fielder, who is quick to get to the ball and fire in a throw. The batters eventually settle for a single.

Faheem Ashraf (1-0-5-0) is back into the attack.

8.6Short and turning into the left-hander, on middle, Emon pushes it to short mid-wicket.

8.5Short on middle, Hridoy nudges it off the back foot to deep square leg for a single.

8.4Flatter and quicker on middle, Hridoy taps it back to Abrar Ahmed.

8.3EDGED AND DROPPED! Tossed up leg break, turning away, Tawhid Hridoy goes for the drive and gets an outside edge. The keeper, Mohammad Haris, gets both hands to it, fluffs it, and has another go at it before the ball goes into the ground.

8.2Quick and shorter on off, Hridoy punches it to short cover.

8.1FOUR! CUT AWAY! FIFTY partnership comes up between these two. Short and outside off, Hridoy places the cut between backward point and short third man to pick up a boundary.

7.6FOUR! Lucky for Parvez Hossain Emon! Back-of-a-length delivery, around off, Emon is perhaps beaten by the sharp bounce as he goes for the pull. The ball takes the top edge and flies well over the keeper's head to go one bounce into the fence.

7.5Back of a length, on off, Hridoy plays the steer to third man for a single. The 50 comes up for Bangladesh now.

7.4From round the wicket, on off, Emon nicely gets forward as he defends it to the left of point and sets off for one.

7.3On a length, skidding off the surface, on middle, Hridoy works it into the leg side towards deep square leg for one.

7.2FOUR! WOW! WHAT A SHOT! Back of a length on off, Hridoy is perhaps lining up for the pull as he gets into a nice position and play a well controlled pull shot that goes along the ground to the right of deep square leg for four.

7.1A cross-seam delivery that lands on a length and rises sharply. The line is outside off. Tawhid looks to push at it and is beaten. The ball perhaps landed on the seam and hence bounced sharply.

What's happened here? It seems like some sort of a bug has gone into the left eye of Tawhid Hridoy. He seems in a bit of discomfort and eventually, the physio does come out to have a look. It does get sorted and after a couple of minutes, we are good to go again.

6.6APPEAL FOR LBW AND NOT GIVEN! Pakistan fielders converge and have a discussion, but they decide against the DRS. Quicker and fuller, googly, turning into the right-hander on middle leg, Hridoy goes for the flick and gets an inside edge that hits his pads and goes toward short third man. Single taken. There was perhaps some bat on it, and hence the Pakistan team decided against the review.

6.5A touch fuller on off, slower through the air, Emon goes for the drive and mistimes it as he somehow manages to play it to long on for one.

6.4A touch full on middle, Emon looks to sweep it and manages to get some bat on it as the ball goes to the left of short fine leg.

6.3Fuller on off, Emon leans foward and defends it.

6.2Short length leg break on off, Hridoy works it square of the wicket, on the leg side for one.

6.1Quicker and fuller on middle, Tawhid Hridoy flicks it to the left of deep fine leg and calls for two straight away. The batters manage to complete two easily. Good running.

Abrar Ahmed to have a bowl now, right after the Powerplay.

5.6Back of a length, on off, Hridoy pulls it to the right of short mid-wicket for one to keep the strike.

5.5Good length outside off, Emon gets forward and plays it to the left of the short extra cover fielder. The fielder puts in a dive to save the ball. Single taken.

5.4Off-cutter that lands on good length, on off, Parvez goes for the pull, but is deceived by the change of pace as he toe-ends it to mid-off.

5.3Now a length delivery outside off, Emon places it to backward point. Dot ball.

5.2Full on off, Hridoy drives it to mid off and sets off for a quick single.

5.1TOP EDGE AND DROPPED! Harsh to call it a drop, but a good effort from the third man fielder. Back of a length seaming away a little, outside off, Hridoy goes for the pull and top edges it. The ball goes towards the deep third region. Abrar Ahmed covers a lot of ground running forward and puts it in a dive to catch the ball, low to his left, gets both hands to it, but the ball goes through. Batters manage to complete two runs as the keeper also goes chasing after the ball and isn't in his place to collect the throw.

Faheem Ashraf comes on to bowl now, replacing Saim Ayub.

4.6BEATEN! Length ball angling into the left-hander and then seaming away. The line is in the channel outside off. Parvez Hossain Emon looks to push at it and gets beaten on the outside edge.

4.5Full and outside off, Parvez Hossain Emon goes for the drive and gets it off the outer half of his bat as he ends up playing it along the ground to backward point.

4.4Beaten! Good length in the channel, angling away with additional bounce, Emon plays and misses, getting beaten past the outside edge.

4.3SIX! That has been hit so hard! On a good length and straighter as well, Emon keeps his shape and smacks it straight back over the bowler's head for a biggie.

4.2Hard length again and outside off, extra bounce on offer, Parvez Hossain Emon rises up and keeps it down towards backward point.

4.1Hard length outside off, tapped away to point.

3.6Short on middle, Tawhid Hridoy pushes it off the back foot, to the right of the bowler.

3.5Short and quick on off, Tawhid Hridoy cuts it straight to the point fielder.

3.4SIX! IN THE ARC AND OUT OF THE PARK! Tossed up leg break in the slot, on middle, Tawhid Hridoy lofts it way over the cow corner fence for a maximum.

3.3Tossed up leg break on off, turning away a bit, Hridoy pushes at it and gets an outside edge that rolls along the ground to short third man.

3.2Full and outside off, Emon shuffles and sweeps it along the ground to deep square leg for a single.

3.1SIX! TONKED! Tossed up on middle, Emon launches this one over the cow corner region for the 2nd six off the Bangla innings.

2.6Good length on middle and off, Hridoy defend it back to the bowler.

2.5Full on off, Hridoy defends it off the front foot to short cover.

2.4Back of a length on middle, Hridoy looks to push at it and misses. The ball hits him high on the pads and goes into the ground.

2.3SIX! Tawhid Hridoy takes full toll of the free hit! Full and around off, Tawhid takes the aerial root and hits it over the long on region for a biggie to get off the mark.

2.3Back of a length on off, defended back to the bowler. Oh, Salman Mirza has overstepped. NO BALL called and a Free Hit to follow as well.

Tawhid Hridoy is the new batter in.

2.2OUT! CAUGHT! Edged and gone! What a catch that is from Khushdil Shah at first slip! Salman Mirza has his second wicket! Full and swinging away outside off, Litton goes for the drive. The ball finds the outside edge and goes to the right of first slip, where Khushdil dives to his right and takes a very good catch.

2.1Length ball that zips off the surface, goes for the swipe across the line and gets an inside edge that hits him high on the back pad and goes into the leg side. The batters pick up a single.

1.6Very short this time from Saim Ayub. The line is on off, Emon works it into the leg side for a single to retain the strike.

1.5Short length, an off break on off stump, Emon cuts it straight to point.

1.4Full on middle, Emon drives it to short cover.

1.3Now an over-pitched delivery on off, Das makes some room and drives it to long off for one.

1.2Oh! A leg break delivery from Saim Ayub that turns away sharply. A touch short and outside off. Litton looks to push at it, but the ball beats his outside edge by quite a margin.

1.1Saim Ayub starts with a full ball on off, Emon drives it down the ground to long off for a single.

Who will bowl from the other end? It will be Saim Ayub with his part-time off-spin.

0.6Now an overpitched delivery on middle, Litton drives it to short extra cover off the toe end of the bat.

0.6Salman Mirza welcomes Litton with a bouncer down the leg side, but it goes over Litton's head who ducks under it. Wide given.

The skipper, Litton Das walks out to bat at number 3.

0.5OUT! CAUGHT! Pakistan and Salman Mirza strike early! First wicket for Salman Mirza in T20 Internationals! Hard length on off, Tanzid Hasan goes for the pull, but the ball hits him high on the bat as he mistimes the pull straight to mid on, where Fakhar Zaman sits down low and pouches it with both hands.

0.4Good-length delivery, swinging away a touch, on off, Parvez Hossain Emon looks to defend it off the front foot and gets an outside edge that goes along the ground to deep third man. Single taken.

0.3A touch fuller on middle, Hasan pushes it with soft hands towards mid on and sets off for a quick single.

0.2On a length outside off, Tanzid pushes it into the off side and looks for one but doesn't get it.

0.1Full and shaping away a touch, outside off, Tanzid Hasan creams the drive to short extra cover.
