(Man of the Match):Feels big, Man of The Match award in my home ground. It was important to build partnerships. When I was batting 80-90 strike rate the team was doing well. That's when I decided to bat till the end. My whole family was there, even some relatives from the village. It was good to play here. I'm still trying to figure out my game in T20s.
(Winning Captain):We live another day. We've been fighting, it's been a hard couple of weeks. [On the angry team talkj] I wasn't happy with the body language. The kind of things I didn't expect from them. I'm not too into the results, just the processes. So I had to let the boys know what I thought. [Sheepishly] I think it's a bit rare. I should be true to myself. If I show that and it gets the best out of them, so be it.
In the last over, we gave ten runs too many. But gotta give credit to Curran. At the end of the day the IPL's beauty is that all team's have good balance and someone is always coming up here and there. It's a big ground but I think we did the small things well. We ran well, we put pressure, so it was good execution from the batsmen.
[Gill] is a terrific player, it was only fair we gave him a run at the top of the order. He'd been looking for it.
It is good to play with a smile, we missed that in the last couple of games. Boys put on a good show tonight. He (DK) lost his bowels there but that is DK and we have lived upto it in the last couple of weeks. We got a couple of wickets early but Sam Curran got them to a decent total in the end. We were clinical with the bat. It was a good wicket, momentumis massive in this game. We lost it in the back end but grabbed it back quickly. Gill was brilliant for us. I am not a TV person but will be glued to the TV for the Sunrisers game tomorrow.
(Losing captain):It's been a par total. We have defended 175-180 before but we knew very well that there's gonna be dew in the second half and I thought they batted really well. Starting with Lynny and then Gill played superbly. We bowled well in the first three overs and then it just got a little away from us and obviously that edges didn't help. Massive positives for us with respect to Pooran and Sam. Sam batted beautifully, we all know he is got the ability and he's got the fight in him and he pulled off pretty well.
Curran to bowl out. Karthik clips the 1st ball to long-on for a single. Curran bangs the 2nd ball short and Gill swats it to long-on for a run. Karthik gets a thick outside edge to the 3rd ball sending it past the keeper for FOUR. Curran bangs the next ball short but it’s too high and called a . Karthik cuts the 4th ball to deep backward point for 2 runs. He then pulls the 5th ball over deep square leg for a SIX. Karthik does well as he just helps the last ball down to fine leg for a FOUR. That seals the win for KKR keeping them in the hunt for a playoff berth.

Andrew Tye comes back into the attack. Both batsmen take singles off the first two balls. Karthik flicks the 3rd ball to deep midwicket for a run.
