Tata Motors July 28 announced the appointment of Thierry Bolloré as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), effective September 10, 2020.
Bolloré will take over from Ralf Speth, who will assume the position of Non-Executive Vice Chairman of JLR.
"I am delighted to welcome Thierry to Jaguar Land Rover. An established global business leader with a proven track record of implementing complex transformations, Thierry will bring a wealth of experience to one of the most revered positions in the industry," Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran said in a statement.
Bolloré was most recently CEO of French automaker Renault, and has held senior positions at global automotive supplier Faurecia.
