Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.com is of the view that one may stay invested in IOC.
Sharmila Joshi of sharmilajoshi.com told CNBC-TV18, "If you have a longer term sort of a horizon you can continue to hold Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). Two to three things I would say are in favour of all the oil marketing companies. We have seen crude go to USD 70 whatever odd level and it seems to have stabilise and has begun to come off that level which is I think good news. Because they have not really been able to take the price hikes given the little sensitivity concerns with inflation etc. So, that said this last year I am sure has been a good year for all oil marketing companies and that should reflect in their numbers today.""Also they are expected to announce some bonus issue, so as I said if you are a longer term investor it makes sense to continue to hold," she added.
