Sell DLF, IndusInd Bank, Infosys; buy IIFL, Vijaya Bank: Thacker

Mitesh Thacker of is of the view that one can sell DLF, IndusInd Bank and Infosys and buy IIFL Holdings and Vijaya Bank.

Mitesh Thacker of told CNBC-TV18, "My buys are on midcap stocks while the sells are on mostly on the F&O side. I have a sell on DLF which is trading with a negative set up. There is some kind of support at Rs 146.25 but it maybe taken out in the opening gap. So sell this with a stop loss at Rs 152 for a target of Rs 140."

"IndusInd Bank is showing some kind of corrective pattern after having outperformed for a number of months now. Some profit booking set up is happening as the indicators break down. So sell this one with a stop loss of Rs 1,196, look for targets close to about Rs 1,153-1,150," he said.

"I also have a sell on Infosys, which has finally broken and closed below the levels of Rs 1,010, important swing support being broken there. So sell with a stop of Rs 1,016 for targets of Rs 975."

"On the buying side, two midcap stocks from the financial sector - IIFL Holdings had a very good pricing volume action yesterday, made a fresh swing high. That is a buy with a stop loss at Rs 297 for targets of like Rs 330."

"Vijaya Bank after the numbers, had a very strong, pricing volume break out bar, that is a buy with a stop loss at Rs 41 for targets of around Rs 50."
