Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com is of the view that one may prefer Motherson Sumi Systems.
Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "All these carbon and graphite stocks, I do not know how sustainable this is because it appears to me like a cyclical story. At some point, if this is the kind of demand, supply will come. China will come back on line, etc. Phillips Carbon Black was at Rs 1,000 less than two weeks back, now it is at Rs 1,450. So things do not move like that and if you get on a bus which is moving so sharply, it can come off equally sharply.""So comparing Motherson Sumi and Phillips Carbon Black, I think Motherson Sumi is a much more stable company; zero debt, sustainable through all sorts of recession and upticks, etc. Between the two, I would go with Motherson. Right now, I am betting a bit on safety because this is not the time to go wild with taking risks," he added.
