PNC Infratech up 9%, bags Rs 233 crore PWD road project in UP

Moneycontrol BureauShares of PNC Infratech surged 9 percent intraday Tuesday as it has won a contract of four laning of Etah to Kasganj road in Uttar Pradesh for a contract value of Rs 232.91 crore.The company received the letter of award (LoA) from public works department (PWD), Uttar Pradesh."This is the third EPC contract won by the company in the current financial year. It has won one state road project and one airport runway project in the current year, aggregating to Rs 260 crore," as per company release."The company’s order book now stands at over Rs 5400 crore including the above two L1 projects, for which letters of award are yet to be received," it added.Earlier in this month, the company had bagged hybrid annuity highway project of Rs 881 crore in Rajasthan.At 09:29 hrs PNC Infratech was quoting at Rs 568, up Rs 11.55, or 2.08 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
