Man Infra soars 11% as Rakesh Jhunjhunwala buys shares

According to the bulk deal data on the BSE, Jhunjhunwala bought 30,00,000 shares of Man Infraconstruction at a price of Rs 36 per share, valuing the transaction at Rs 10.8 crore.

Shares of Man Infraconstruction surged 11 percent intraday on Friday as the man with Midas touch bought some shares of the company. Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala picked up 30 lakh shares of Man Infraconstruction for about Rs 11 crore through the open market route. The shares of Man Infraconstruction had already jumped 20 percent yesterday following the development.


According to the bulk deal data on the BSE, Jhunjhunwala bought 30,00,000 shares of Man Infraconstruction at a price of Rs 36 per share, valuing the transaction at Rs 10.8 crore.


The seller of the shares is Mansi Parag Shah, one of the promoters of Man Infraconstruction.


As per the December quarter shareholding pattern, Mansi P Shah holds 5,92,85,695 shares or 23.95 percent stake in the company. Man Infra provides construction services for ports, roads besides undertaking residential, industrial, commercial projects.


At 12:44 hrs Man Infraconstruction was quoting at Rs 45.00, up Rs 1.80, or 4.17 percent on the BSE.
