Like four-wheeler space, Maruti obvious play: Amit Khurana

Amit Khurana of Dolat Capital Market told CNBC-TV18, "We like the four-wheeler space. So, Maruti Suzuki is an obvious play there. It is something that we have all in general been comfortable with. While two-wheeler space has taken a serious knock, we do believe that over the next few months, the volume growth, especially when we see the impact of the monsoons playing out and the rural story, how much of an impact it makes, we have yet to see that. We are seeing somehow it is that getting impacted, but if it is pretty serious, then two-wheelers will continue to underperform and therefore we will prefer to play the four-wheeler cycle only.""Notably, we also see some very early evidence. Probably reasonable evidence now of the commercial vehicle (CV) cycle is beginning to show some signs of recovery and therefore, that could be another interesting space to watch out for. So, broadly positively biased, but again, you have got to be very stock specific and again, play on the strengths of the individual companies," he said."We are not seeing a very sector driven situation in most of the names right now. For example, Ashok Leyland's numbers have been pretty strong. We have not seen that evidence happening for all the companies per se across all the segments.
