Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission added 11 percent in the early trade on Tuesday as company received orders worth Rs 871 crore.
The company secured new orders/ notification of award of Rs 871 crore, which includes orders worth Rs 282 crore for design, supply and construction of substations and associated transmission line work from APTRANSCO.
It also includes, 400kV double circuit transmission line from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh and an order for 132 kV transmission line from Nepal Electricity Authority totaling approximately Rs 100 crore.
The order of pipeline augmentation work in Rajasthan for Rs 366 crore from a private client and design, supply, erection, testing & commissioning of railway electrification work for Rs 123 crore from CORE.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, Kalpataru Power Transmission said “The current orders reflect continued success of our railway and pipeline businesses."
"The cumulative order intake from these businesses this year has exceeded Rs 2,600 crore. This will provide further impetus for growth in the next year,” he added.
The meeting of board of directors is scheduled to be held on February 7, 2018 to consider and approve standalone unaudited financial results of the company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2017.
