Shares of Clariant Chemicals rallied nearly 3 percent intraday on May 17 after the company reported a 200 percent increase in net profit for the quarter ended March 2019.
The company in its exchange release said profit for Jan-March quarter stood at Rs 10.8 crore, compared to Rs 3.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Revenue of the company went up by 5.3 percent in Q4 at Rs 257 crore compared to Rs 244 crore in the year-ago period.
The board of the company recommended a final dividend of Rs 5 per share.
At 1028 hrs, Clariant Chemicals was quoting Rs 304, up 2.81 percent on the BSE.
