Gaurav Bissa of LKP Securities told CNBC-TV18, "One can go long in Tata Motors (DVR) for target price of Rs 360 keeping a stoploss at Rs 344. The stock has been trending in a small range, small consolidation of few days. Today it is coming out of that range, it is trading above its majority of the averages. Fresh long portions have been seen getting built in the stock. Out the money Call options predominantly, Rs 360 strike Call option has witnessed increased amount of action indicating that buyers interest is now coming out."
"If you compare Tata Motors overall as a shares and Tata Motors (DVR) these are still 10 percent away from its all time high. It indicates that there is a significant room that is still left in Tata Motors (DVR) to catch up and we might see again higher levels than Rs 360," he said.
"One can go long in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation for target price of Rs 580 keeping the stoploss at Rs 557. The stock has corrected considerably from Rs 600 odd levels to around Rs 560, it is taking support at around Rs 555-560 level. This is also the level where its 50 day moving average (DMA) is placed. On the previous occasions we have seen this stock taken bounce back from 50 DMA. Hopefully since the significant fall was not supported by huge number of short positions we might see some amount of short covering which might again pull the stock to higher levels."
"Recommendation is for Strides Arcolab for a target price of Rs 965 keeping the stoploss at Rs 925. This is one of the stocks that has been trading in a range, it has been accumulating long positions since a last few days and volumes have picked up. It is trading above its short-term average. The stock might see higher levels in coming days."
