Buy Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Auto: Deven Choksey

Deven Choksey, MD of KR Choksey Shares and Securities told CNBC-TV18, "Certainly, in the auto space, we remain confident about the growth in passenger vehicle segment as well as two-wheelers and more importantly in the commercial vehicle segment. However, in the two-wheeler space, the growth is likely to be even faster given the kind of infrastructure led spending, which is likely to happen after good monsoon. We are likely to see rural demand picking up and that is where we will probably see higher amount of numbers kicking in for the most of the two-wheeler companies."

"Certainly we would remain the positive on the two-wheeler space both on Hero Motocorp as well as on Bajaj Auto and believe that going forward, these companies could acquire higher amount of sales. Whether we will buy at this point of time afresh, I would say yes and probably buy more if the market gives opportunity at lower levels. So certainly, it make sense to buy and stay invested into this particular space," he said.
