Budget 2018: Govt allocates Rs 7,148cr for textile; shares gain 1-9%

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has presented Union Budget 2018-19 today and he announced that government has allocated Rs 7,148 crore for textile sector.

Shares of textile stocks rose 1-9 percent intraday Thursday as government allocate Rs 7,148 crore towards the sector.

Textiles shares including Bang Overseas, Aarvee Denim, KG Denim, Arvind and Digjam have reacted positively post FM announcement.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has presented Union Budget 2018-19 today and he announced that government has allocated Rs 7,148 crore for textile sector.

At 12:10 hrs Arvind was quoting at Rs 413.20, up 0.30 percent, Digjam was quoting at Rs 13.91, up 1.16 percent.

Bang Overseas was quoting at Rs 38, up 8.57 percent, KG Denim was quoting at Rs 66, up 4.10 percent and Aarvee Denim was quoting at Rs 49.80, up 1.32 percent.
