Kunal Bothra at LKP Securities told CNBC-TV18, "I think Maruti Suzuki has broken a serious sort of supports. I think looking at the short-term chart picture I believe that it could probably start a fairly strong fresh down trend. The trigger would be from a very short-term time frame perspective. Couple of stock from the banking name like PSU banks, Bank of India and Bank of Baroda, I think both of them they are looking weak on charts.""I think the entire PSU banks is still not out of the woods and they could be very good shorting opportunities in that basket as well, so I would probably look at being very stock specific. In the midcap scenario the picture is completely different," he added."A lot of stocks from the midcap space in the last three or four days you have seen that have given a breakout of 15-20 percent as well. So midcap scenario would be different but from a shorting opportunity I think probably shorting the weaker sectors would be a very good trade at this point of time," he said.
