Aurobindo Pharma, Glenmark Pharma top picks: R Sreesankar

R Sreesankar, head - institutional equities at Prabhudas Lilladher told CNBC-TV18, "In our top picks we have Aurobindo Pharma and Glenmark Pharma, we continue to like these. This has been a part of our top pick for some time and we still continue with these top picks. The sector per se looks interesting but the valuation in many of these companies are not cheap, it is stretched. That is the reason why some of these pharmaceutical companies which at some point of time was a part of our top pick. We still have an accumulated buy on many of these stocks but it is not a part of our top picks."

At 12:44 hrs Glenmark Pharma was quoting at Rs 1,056.50, up Rs 17.65, or 1.70 percent. It has touched a 52-week high of Rs 1,060.95.

Aurobindo Pharma was quoting at Rs 1,510.80, up Rs 16.20, or 1.08 percent. It has touched a 52-week high of Rs 1,512.
