Kapadia bearish on banking space

Hemen Kapadia of chartpundit.com is bearish on banks and one can write out of the money call options in some of the banks.

Kapadia told CNBC-TV18, "If the US markets recover some 300 points today evening, and we see a gap up opening, short them, yes but rather than doing pure futures I think one can write slightly out of the money call option in many one of these banks because that gives you that cushion. You also have a curtailed week, you have a holiday on Monday. So writing a slight out of the money call option would be a safer bet than just going short in futures itself vis-
