Arrivals of chilli crop declined below 60,000 bags across major trading centers while spot rates too were down pressured by dull demand and steady supply at spot mandis. Spot rates traded in the range of Rs 83-Rs 85 per kg.Arrivals of jeera declined to ~4,500-5,000 bags, due to transporters strike while trades declined significantly to about 2,300-2,500 bags at auctions held at Unjha market, as per local traders.Spot rates of pepper garbled declined to Rs 335 per kg and that of un-garbled was down at Rs 320 per kg. Arrivals increased to 20 tons & trades were unchanged at 10 tons at Kochi market, as per IPSTA.Turmeric arrivals stood around 1,500 bags at Nizamabad, but declined to about 10,000 bags across mandis of Erode, as per market reports. Spot rates were down by more than Rs 200 per quintal, across major trading centers.Average price of small cardamom increased to Rs 561.2 per kg, while the maximum price offered was down at Rs 792 per kg. Total inflow of small cardamom crop increased to 84.6 tons and the same were sold at SIGC auction held at Kochi.India's soy bean production is estimated at 11.5mn tons in the current year, up by 21.05% compared to last year and is mainly due to strong production estimates from Rajasthan and Maharashtra, as per COOIT. Total arrivals of soya bean crop increased to more than 10lakh bags across major trading centers, with arrivals of about 6lakh bags at MP market, about 2.4-2.5lakh bags at mandis of Maharashtra and rest across different markets. Spot rates offered by planters stood were down at Rs 21.5-Rs 21.7 per kg, while rates offered by farmers at mandis of Indore were down around Rs 21.5 per kg, as per local traders.Prices in Guar complex fell sharply to lower circuit in the first couple of session, pressured by increase in inflow of new crop in the market. Guar seed crop arrivals increased to 16,340 quintals, while the average of the closing spot rates was up at Rs 4,491.1 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.Inflow of mustard seed crop declined to 12,098 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were up at Rs 2,669.5 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan.Mentha oil futures closed on a flat note, capping majority of its early gains, backed by decline in spot rates due to lower off-take and steady inflow
