Indian ADRs: Infosys declines 2%, HDFC Bank rises 0.5%

Indian ADRs barring banking sector closed lower on Friday. In the technology space, Infosys was down 1.82 percent to USD 42.68 per ADR and Wipro fell 1 percent to USD 8.94.

Indian ADRs barring banking sector closed lower on Friday. In the technology space, Infosys was down 1.82 percent to USD 42.68 per ADR and Wipro fell 1 percent to USD 8.94.

In the telecom space, Tata Communications slipped 0.11 percent to USD 9.16.

Steel producer Sterlite Industries went down 1.56 percent to USD 8.86, healthcare firm Dr Reddy's Labs was down 0.67 percent to USD 34.18 and commercial vehicle major Tata Motors lost 1.57 percent to USD 28.83.

Meanwhile, banking stocks gain yesterday. ICICI Bank rose 0.11 percent to USD 45 and HDFC Bank was up 0.51 percent to USD 41.11.
