BNP Paribas Arbitrage buys 1.25% stake in MCX India
Multi Commodity Exchange of India shares closed off day's low on Friday. BNP Paribas Arbitrage has purchased more than 15 crore worth of equity shares of the company.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage has bought 6,40,000 shares (1.25 percent stake) at near day's low of Rs 241.79 apiece of Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX India) on Friday on the NSE.
On August 8, HDFC Mutual Fund A/C HDFC Prudence Fund had purchased 3.06 lakh shares at Rs 293.25 and on July 24, Swiss Finance Corporation (Mauritius) had bought 4,73,837 shares at Rs 718.12 apiece on the NSE.
On Friday, the stock fell 3.71 percent to close at Rs 244.25 after hitting a record low of Rs 241.
Trading volumes increased more than two times to 40,17,229 shares as compared to its five-day average of 17,74,747 shares.
It crashed 65 percent in past one month and 79 percent in one year.
