Like India Cements & ACC in cement space: Mohindar

If one wants to be in cement, one should go with the frontliners, something like India Cements and ACC. Both these stocks can show good short-term upmoves, says Rahul Mohindar, viratechindia.com.

Mohindar told CNBC-TV18, "Cement looks pretty good but the question in Prism Cement is over the December bottom, which we saw around Rs 48-49. We have almost seen close to 20% rally on the stock in the last two-three weeks. So the stock has run up to key resistance levels, Rs 58 is the key resistance for Prism Cement now. It would be interesting to see if we can move out above that and get into a whole new bull zone but the odds that are happening seem to be little less. If you want to be in cement, go with the frontliners. I would be very comfortable in something like India Cements and ACC. I think both these stocks can show you good short-term upmoves. I would not venture into Prism Cements considering the fact they are so close to Rs 58." India Cements touched an intraday high of Rs 112.75 and an intraday low of Rs 109.80. At 14:27 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 110.05, down Rs 1.10, or 0.99%. It was trading with volumes of 96,745 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 1.60% or Rs 1.75 at Rs 111.15.
