Moneycontrol BureauFurniture retailer Urban Ladder has made a major change in its strategy as the company plans to set up offline stores and list on e-commerce portals, The Economic Times reported on Tuesday.
The company has partnered with e-commerce majors like Flipkart and Amazon and plans to open eight offline stores in its top cities over the next 24 months.
”The only thing that we will do over the next three years is improve access, while keeping the brand vision, quality and customer service controlled in-house,” Ashish Goel, CEO, Urban Ladder, told ET.
“We are making brand stores on both Amazon and Flipkart. My sense is that we should be 25-30 percent of Amazon and Flipkart’s (furniture) business,” he added.
Earlier, the Bengaluru-based startup had inked a deal with refurbished household goods startup GoZefo to power its exchange programs.
