ShareChat’s chief business officer Gaurav Jain quits

Manohar Charan, chief financial officer and co-founder, ShareChat, will be taking over the additional charge of working with revenue function focusing on monetisation in the interim, a company spokesperson shared.

Gaurav Jain, chief business officer of social media platform ShareChat and short video app Moj has quit the company, he said in a LinkedIn post on June 16.

In his three-year stint at the company, he was leading ShareChat’s monetisation efforts across sales, partnerships, marketing, brand solutions, pricing, strategy and customer success.

While he is moving out of the company, this exit comes at a time when ShareChat is in the midst of shifting gears from high cash burn to focus on sustainable growth following two years of monetisation struggles.
