Bengaluru-based legal tech startup Nyayanidhi has raised $2 million in a seed round led by 3one4 Capital, at a time when courts and enterprises are accelerating adoption of digital tools to manage litigation and documentation.
Founded in 2024 by Adithya LHS, Chakshu Masagali, and Pratik Pany, Nyayanidhi is building an AI-driven platform designed to automate drafting, translations and filings for litigation. The company positions itself as a digital infrastructure layer for India’s dispute resolution system, aiming to reduce preparation timelines and improve transparency in the litigation workflow.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to expand its network of advocate partners, deepen government integrations, and strengthen its AI systems as it scales to more states.
The round also saw participation from DeVC, PeerCheque, Force Ventures, and several angel investors including Jar co-founder Nishchay Ag.
Nyayanidhi works with advocate partners and uses AI to accelerate litigation-related documentation and case management.
According to the company, its pilots across High Courts and enterprise clients have processed thousands of cases and cut turnaround times from weeks to days. It currently operates from within the Karnataka High Court and supports multilingual drafting and filings.
The funding comes as India’s legal system continues to grapple with more than 50 million pending cases and largely paper-driven processes despite ongoing digitisation efforts.
CEO and co-founder Adithya LHS said the platform is built to bring predictability and accountability to litigation by combining data, standardised processes, and human verification of AI output.
"Our custom AI workflows automate required legal work for an enterprise and unlike other software solution providers, we partner with specialist advocates to be human in the loop to verify AI done work. The net result is a better experience for our customers and legal services itself at AI Speeds," Adithya LHS told Moneycontrol.
Nyayanidhi’s expansion comes amid growing interest in legal tech solutions from enterprises as they look to streamline compliance, documentation and dispute resolution workflows. The company said it will continue to focus on building tools that address cost, time and coordination challenges in India’s litigation ecosystem.
