Sell PNB, Kaveri Seed; buy Coal India, Hexaware, hold Yes Bank, Vedanta: Sudarshan Sukhani

Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "It is possible to take buy as well as some short trades for the day. Kaveri Seed Company has been a disappointment after a big rally. The rally has stalled. That is short sell. All short sells should be closed every day, do not carry them. In a bull market, we do not carry short trades."

"Coal India is a buying opportunity. There was a bear market in Coal India, that came to an end and a V-shaped rally started. Then there was consolidation and a breakout from that consolidation. It is a very nice, almost picture perfect chart for a bullish move. So Coal India is a buy, not just for today, you could actually carry that position forward."

"Hexaware Technologies which has been making new highs consistently, is a buying opportunity. Again here, you may like to carry the positions, rather than just keep it intraday," he said.

"Yes Bank and Vedanta should be held. Both stocks are bluechips, both have been outperformers in this leg of the bull market. Stocks that outperform in the beginning, continue to stay so, continue to do better than the index and better than other shares. So don’t worry about the volatility that you are seeing in Yes Bank just now, this is just part of the process; a bull market was everything, volatility, and rallies, everything. Stay with it for the long term, you will be very well rewarded."

"I am not upbeat on PSU banks in spite of the news. I would suggest to take profits and exit Punjab National Bank (PNB). In the best case scenario, stocks will consolidate before moving up. You can always re-enter. In the most likely scenario, this rally will fizzle out. So either case, I think you should sell out," he added.
