Later, he interned at a biotech company Abraxis BioScience and worked at a software company Intuit. At Intuit, he handled one of the products which took the information available online and made it accessible via SMS to people in India who didn't have broadband Internet access. When he passed away in 2011 his net worth was estimated to be around $10.2 billion. 6/6 Bill Gates | Co-founder, Microsoft | The second richest person on earth, Gates worked on myriad of projects, sometimes just in exchange for using computers. After dropping out of Harvard he and Paul Allen worked at Honeywell. His net worth is $92.4 billion.
