Almost 100 days after launching its housing scheme, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has sold nearly 2,300 flats. The Authority had launched the scheme on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis on June 30, this year, where it had put on sale 5,600 flats in the one, two and three BHK configuration in Jasola, Rohini, Dwarka, Lok Nayak Puram, Narela and Siraspur areas.

The 2BHK units offered in Dwarka in the price range of Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.2 crore were sold out within a few days. DDA officials said that the sale of flats picked up momentum after it introduced several measures such as allowing the combining of two flats (jodi flats) and allowing actual flat visits before purchase.
