PNB Housing Finance, the housing finance arm of Punjab National Bank, is expecting 15-20 basis points of reduction in cost of funds in the coming quarters, said Girish Kousgi, MD and CEO, PNB Housing Finance.
"We expect 15-20 bps reduction in cost of funds in coming quarters," Kousgi said in an interaction with CNBC-TV 18.
Kousgi also said that the company has taken a cautious stance on its corporate book.
On the company's business, Kousgi said that they are looking at a strong growth in the last quarter of the current financial year. "Generally, the fourth quarter is good for NBFCs and HFCs and we expect good business for the sector," he said.
The HFC, Kousgi said, has opened 100 branches in the last four months. "We have opened 100 branches in the last four months and now we have 300 branches," Kousgi said.
