NAVs end with positive returns

Equity diversified NAVs ended positive with advance:decline ratio of 244:7 as the Indian equity benchmarks continued their uptrend for the third consecutive session on Friday and closed the truncated week with 973 points gains on the Sensex.

Equity diversified NAVs ended positive with advance:decline ratio of 244:7 as the Indian equity benchmarks continued their uptrend for the third consecutive session on Friday and closed the truncated week with 973 points gains on the Sensex. Heavyweight Reliance Industries led the rally, gaining more than 10% in three sessions.



 


The 30-share BSE Sensex gained 144.71 points, to close at 16,821.46 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 39 points at 5,040 supported by 31 stocks.


 


Sector fund  banking, FMCG and pharma funds advance, while technology funds decline.


 


Short term debt funds ended higher, while long term debt fund closed with negative bias, their; advance:decline ratio stood at 113:16 & 41:39, respectively.
