Vedanta announces fifth interim dividend of Rs 20.50 per share

The Vedanta board on March 28 announced the payment of the fifth interim dividend for this year. The board of billionaire Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Ltd, after holding a meeting earlier in the evening, said the company will pay Rs 20.50 per equity share dividend, amounting to a total of Rs 7,621 crore. Taking a cue from Covid, India develops own model to calculate TB burden

Using the new mathematical model, the tuberculosis incidence and mortality estimates will be available in India by March every year, six months earlier than the WHO estimates. The Centre may also make such estimates for states in future using this model. More here.
