Modenik Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., a leading essential wear company in India supported by Advent International, has announced significant leadership changes. Sunil Sethi will retire from his role as Executive Chairman on July 31, 2024, and will be succeeded by L.V. Vaidyanathan, the former CEO and MD of P&G India.
Sethi, who played a crucial role in integrating Modenik’s brands Dixcy and Enamor into a unified company, will continue to serve on the Board of Directors. His leadership saw the company through the COVID-19 crisis, fostering a resilient organization and building a strong management team.
Vaidyanathan, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, brings over 25 years of experience from P&G, where he led markets in India, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore.
The board is confident that these changes will drive Modenik forward.
Sahil Dalal, Managing Director at Advent India PE Advisors, added, “We are excited for the next phase of Modenik’s journey, and we believe L.V. Vaidyanathan’s vast expertise and forward-thinking approach will elevate Modenik to a market-leading position."
Vaidyanathan shared his excitement about joining Modenik Lifestyle and building on the strong foundation laid by Sethi. He looks forward to collaborating with Shekhar Tewari and the team at Modenik to drive growth and achieve new milestones.
