Varanium Capital Advisors has acquired a 1.2 percent equity stake in Namo eWaste Management and a 0.67 percent stake in Sahasra Electronic Solutions via open market transactions on November 12.
Namo eWaste Management shares rallied more than 12 percent to finish the session at Rs 215.25, while Sahasra Electronic Solutions surged over 15 percent to Rs 350 on the National Stock Exchange, extending their upward journey for the fourth consecutive session.
Varanium Capital Advisors bought 2.76 lakh shares (equivalent to 1.2 percent of paid-up equity) in Namo eWaste at Rs 224.6 per share, amounting to Rs 6.2 crore, and 1.68 lakh shares (representing a 0.67 percent stake) in Sahasra Electronic at Rs 359.17 per share, totaling Rs 6.03 crore.
Meanwhile, there was a significant exchange of shares among global marquee investors in several companies, including Fortis Healthcare, WeWork, Lloyds Metals, SBI, Groww, and Max Healthcare.
Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) acquired 5.09 lakh shares in Fortis Healthcare at Rs 975.4 per share for Rs 49.67 crore, and 3.52 lakh shares in Lloyds Metals and Energy at Rs 1,305.2 per share for Rs 46.05 crore, both from UBS AG.
The firm also picked up 4.62 lakh shares in WeWork India Management at Rs 615.65 per share, worth Rs 28.47 crore, again from UBS AG.
Societe Generale bought 92,289 equity shares in Max Healthcare Institute at Rs 1,095.4 per share for Rs 10.1 crore from BNP Paribas Financial Markets, and 1.14 lakh shares in State Bank of India at Rs 953.3 per share for Rs 10.89 crore from BofA Securities Europe SA.
Meanwhile, BNP Paribas Financial Markets acquired 24,722 shares in Schaeffler India at Rs 4,105.65 per share for Rs 10.1 crore from Copthall Mauritius Investment, and 14.91 lakh shares in Billionbrains Garage Ventures (Groww) at Rs 122 per share, totaling Rs 18.19 crore, from UBS AG.
