It is a market which is positively biased, so one can trade with long bias on a stock specific basis and once the index breaks into fresh highs then trade on the index, says Mitessh Thakkar.
The market could not sustain at higher levels and consolidation set in. The Nifty opened higher but saw selling at higher levels. The index ended almost flat with a negative bias. The Sensex closed up 55.52 points at 32241.93.
Meanwhile, the midcaps outperformed the benchmark indices with gains of over 100 points. The Bank Nifty saw subdued end with gains of three tenths of a percent.
