Shares of Taj GVK jumped close to 8 percent on November 4 after the company reported a strong growth in the September quarter profits.
The stock of the company was trading more than 9 percent before paring some of the gains to quote Rs 330.85, higher by 7.82 percent on NSE at 13:36 pm.
The Hyderabad-based company registered a consolidated net profit of Rs 19.65 crore in the second quarter of FY25, up 76.46 percent over Rs 11.13 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, firm said in an exchange filing on November 4.
In the June quarter, the company reported a net profit of Rs 12.71, according to the exchange filing.
The firm’s revenue from operations was 17.61 percent higher at Rs 105.17 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 89.42 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said. The revenue for the June quarter was Rs 89.42 crore.
